Dustin Pedroia and Jacoby Ellsbury Talk After Wednesday’s Win Over the Yankees

Dustin Pedroia credited the Red Sox win Wednesday night to doing the “little things.” Catcher Jason Varitek did more than just little things, recording a double and a home run, but Pedey’s point should be well taken. The Boston batters took a lot of pitches and really dragged out at-bats, even ones that ended in unproductive outs. Jacoby Ellsbury also smashed a home run. After drilling his first career longball to left field off Boone Logan in the sixth inning, the Fenway Faithful roared with MVP chants. Here’s what Pedroia and Ellsbury had to say after the game.
