The Patriots are 27-5 in their last two seasons (postseason excluded), tallied double-digit victories in each of the last nine seasons and haven’t finished a campaign sub-.500 since the turn of the millennium.

The over/under is 12 and their schedule reads: (1) at Tennessee, (2) Arizona, (3) at Baltimore, (4) at Buffalo, (5) Denver, (6) at Seattle, (7) NY Jets, (8) at St. Louis (in London), (9) bye, (10) Buffalo, (11) Indianapolis, (12) at NY Jets, (13) at Miami, (14) Houston, (15) San Francisco, (16) Jacksonville, (17) Miami.
Last year, New England dropped a Week 3 contest to the Bills, then back-to-back games in Weeks 9 and 10 to the Steelers and Giants. Of those teams, only Pittsburgh should present a challenge in 2012, though the Titans, Ravens, Broncos, Jets, Texans and 49ers also have the potential to take down NE.
