According to a tweet from Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari (see left), Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will be going back to the school for his junior year if the NBA Lockout is not resolved.
Rondo spent two years at the university before leaving for the ranks of the professionals. As the tweet reads, joining him would be Washington’s John Wall and Oklahoma City’s Eric Bledsoe.
In other news Rondo, will be participating in an exhibition game August 15 between eight former Wildcats and the Dominican National team at Rupp Arena. For the record, he has agreed to participate, but this does not mean he will play, as he is still feeling the effects of last postseason’s elbow injury.
