J.A. Adande tweeted shortly after the Celtics-Lakers game that Kevin Garnett had an interesting tidbit to pass on to a Los Angeles ball boy.
KG to ballboy hoping to get his ball signed: “You’ve got a better chance of catching Bin Laden”
JAdande Twitter
If that doesn’t define what the Boston/L.A rivalry means to not just the players, but the fans, I’m not sure what does. Chivalry is not dead KG!

Hahahahaha this is great! Great pic of KG with the bloody head. They need to start clipping nails on the Phil Jackson llama farm.
The Lakers should still be thanking the basketball gods that Perkins got injured in last year’s game seven because they were gonna lose. Perkins was a monster! Looking at things now,the Spurs and Celtics are on a collision course. The Lakers can’t touch either one of them.
Agree 100% Patrick.Lakers (33-15) are:0-1 vs Celtics0-1 vs Spurs0-1 vs Mavs1-1 vs Bulls0-1 vs Heat1-0 vs Knicks(They havent played the Magic yet)Celtics (36-11) are:1-0 vs Lakers1-0 vs Spurs0-1 vs Mavs2-1 vs Bulls2-0 vs Heat1-1 vs Magic2-0 vs KnicksIts quite obvious who the better team is.
yeah, because the Lakers really care about games played in before January?! you guys can’t be this narrow-minded
Hey Chuck,Four of the Spurs seven losses were on back to backs. Including their loss to the Celtics. There aren’t any back to backs in the playoffs as far as I can remember. I can’t wait for the Spurs Celtics finals. It will go 7 games.
Love the debate here. Honestly, the Spurs are playing great basketball. Even so, I don’t think they can get past the Lakers. The only team that I see getting by them is OKC. If Durant and Westbrook are playing at their finest, they are close to unstoppable. Also, saying the Lakers don’t care about a game like this is ridiculous. I realize it’s one of 82 regular season games. The same case can be made for the Celtics if you’re thinking that way. Truth is, C’s-Lakers is always a rivalry game. Both teams will do anything to win.Gasol and Bynum couldn’t hang with Boston’s front line. That was the difference in the game.
The Spurs would beat the Celtics in a 7 game series without a doubt, the Celtics can’t hold a candle to them
I don’t know Joey. I’m a big time Spurs fan, but we don’t have the interior size the Celtics have. It would be a great series. Probably similar to the Spurs-Pistons finals.
Garnett lives in malibu, and peirce is not scoring that easy versus Artest, just lucky he got hurt, Walton is third string.
Who really cares????They are all a bunch of overpaid babies. Damn “ballboy” asks for an autograph and POS thinks he’s to high and mighty to give it to him. “you can take them outta the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto outta them.” That phrase is so TRUE!
Well since no one else will comment on the other part of this conversation. Yeah LA/Boston rivalry is intense, but seriously you couldn’t sign the ball for the kid? Really KG have some class, comparing to getting your autograph to finding Osama Bin Laden… egomaniac much?
Fuck Boston all you sorry motherfuckers do is make excuses for being losers
still butt hurt over last year? and him not signing that ball has nothing to do with the rivalry, it has to do with KG being the biggest asshole in the league.
I’m not saying Garnett couldn’t have signed the ball for him. But when KG’s in game mode there’s nothing stopping him. I don’t agree with all of his decisions, but there are worse people in professional athletics. Until the Spurs beat the Lakers in the playoffs, I won’t believe they can take the C’s in a seven game series. The road to the finals in the West goes through L.A. as much as I hate to say it. I have a lot of respect for SAS, just my two cents.
all you boston fans get eat it come June, the championship isnt won in January when will you bandwagoners get that through your thick head!!!!Lakers will be champs come June, and all you people saying “oh the lakers would not have won in Perkins played” JUST STFU seriously!
KG is a punk, that nut shot he gave to Channing Frye summed it all up… A cheap shot from a dirty player that has no class… Funny how everyone that mentions how Perkins was out last year doesn’t mention how Bynum was out when Boston won… Quit yer whining and let’s wait to crown a champ til the end of the playoffs. Lakers 2nd THREEPEAT!!
I will say this I LOVE the Lakers and I can’t stand the Celtics. That shit KG pulled with the ball boy is tacky and classless typical KG shit. Money doesn’t by class or a game 7 win Fuk Boston. Memo to all Celtic fans they didn’t hand out any trophy’s yesterday and there isn’t any parade this week LMAO it was a REGULAR SEASON GAME get it. I will admit the Lakers need to shake roster tree but we don’t need to cut it down. When the smoke clears once again Lakers will be the last team standing. MEMO to the guy listing the Lakers and Boston records vs other teams, Boston has NOT played the Spurs this season SMH… Get it together dude!
I firmly believe if we had Perk we would have won. The same case can be made for Bynum to an extend. We didn’t even need the 7th game though. He doesn’t make as big an impact as Perk, and definitely didn’t then. Perk is our best interior defender and rebounder. Bynum is your third best rebounder and isn’t exactly what I would call tough. Though to his credit, at least he isn’t a flopper (like fisher and the llama).I guess, we’ll just have to wait and see come June. I really hope it’s Celtics-Lakers. Regardless of who you cheer for, nothing else compares.
And Anonymous, the Celtics definitely beat the Spurs. I was actually there for that one. Ray shot the lights out.
Garnett is a bitch and this helps prove my point!!!! He was weak in Minnesota now he thinks he is a tough guy in Boston!! Please I hope the Celtics can make it to the Finals so the Lakers can dominate them!! 3 peat all the way!!
actually boston beat the spurs 105-103 on january 5th. here’s proof.http://www.nba.com/celtics/schedule/2010-2011-regular-season-schedule.html
One word…KNICKS
I really hope someone punches him in the mouth soon!! I would if I ever see his punk ass!!!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 months before the freakin’ playoffs , and everyone has already counted the Lakers out of it???? I can tell most of you are unknowledgable fans or bandwagon hitch-hikers…. I believe last season Boston went through something similar to what the Lakers are going through right now and they were deemed , dead and finished? What happened????? The Boston Celtics outclassed the whole Eastern Conference without home-court advantage. Real Lakers fans know Phil Jackson presents a whole new game plan and sets of plays specially made to slow down the game and force teams who normally like to run… I.E… OKC ,Denver ,recently San Antonio , Dallas to play a half-court playoff series which will favor the lakers length and size. Rajon Rondo said it yesterday, ”We knew we could run on them.” That won’t work for long in the playoffs , The Lakers will be focused disciplined and more careful with the ball, plus they will turn the defensive intensity up.. especially with the return of Matt Barnes. The best regular season record does not always gaurantee a trip to the finals… Just ask The Cleveland Cavilier teams of 3 seasons ago. We have 3 long months left to get it right… might not catch San Antonio for the number 1 seed , but what will it matter if the Lakers are at they’re peak once the playoffs start??? We all know when the Lakers are focused on the prize and everyone is in sync no other team in the league can beat them in a 7 game series. As for people complaining about how lucky the Lakers were in game 7 against the Celtics , because of Kendrick Perkins injury??? Knock it off…. Kendrick Perkins injury was a blessing for Boston , because Rasheed Wallace gave them a more superior scoring threat and he was just as effective against Pau Gasol in the defensive post…. To me if Kendrick Perkins played in that game Boston probably would have lost by 12 points… The Lakers shot awful regardless… Boston was up big do to Rasheed Wallace’s early offense. Go back and watch that whole game.Ohhhh and by the way, anybody who wants to keep bringing up the 2008 finals???? What if Trevor Ariza was healthy???? What if Andrew Bynum was healthy????? What if the Lakers had not blown that 24 point lead in game 4????? See??? It does not matter beacause what happened…. just happened….. move the hell on for Pete’s Sake!!!!!
Who’s counting the Lakers out? I’m saying they’re the best team in the West and will be competing for the title. I hate the Lakers, but respect them as one of the best teams in the league.I won’t get into the numerous ridiculous points you tried to make, but I will say that the Perk injury was not a blessing. Sheed was awful last season. He may have scored a few more points than Perk, but it took him 3x the shots and he never rebounded. He was an old, out of shape, waste of money and space.
Perfectly said Mr Anonymous. Also people dont forget Andrew was not healthy for all of last years playoffs including finals. The Lakers will be ready come June. Its all about staying healthy. LAkers!!!!
The Celtics won a game in L.A. in January. Good for them. See you in June…that is if you can get past the reborn Heat. Always have and always will hate that green jersey. Lakers will have to go seven to beat the Spurs, but will beat the Celts in five.
Wow, people here actually believe the Lakers are going to beat the Spurs in the playoffs? I take it none of you watched the Spurs absolutely dismantle the Lakers. The final was 97-82 in case you forgot. And Stephen, you act like the Spurs have never beaten the Lakers in the playoffs. I believe all 4 of our rings went through LA.
Those rings did come through LA. However, I think the combination of aging and the loss of role players Bruce Bowen and Michael Finley hurt too much. The Spurs 4-8 years ago are not the Spurs of today. Until they make some noise in this year’s postseason, I won’t buy it.
LOL HEAT ALL THE WAY
You’re only looking at the negatives. Gary Neal is the best shooting role player we’ve ever had (and we’ve had some really good ones in the past). Ginobili is playing some of the best basketball of his career(Answer this: How many game winning plays has he had this year?). Antonio McDyess is playing great on both sides of the ball. George Hill is playing the best ball of his career. I could keep on going with this. The only 2 subtractions you can count are the absence of Bowen, and Timmy getting older. Every other player is playing better than ever, or we’ve replaced them with some one better.
We’ll see. I’m not disputing the fact that they’re one of the top teams in the league. I just don’t think they’ll get past LA in the playoffs. The Kobe factor is just too strong. They would need to play top-notch team-defense to have a chance. That’s where the loss of Bowen really hurts them.
Relax, people. It’s only the regular season. The Lakers were in a limbo at the very end of last season before the playoffs started, going on a slide and losing to the Kings at home at 1 point. Besides – Boston had a similar scenario as the Lakers, and both of these teams made it to the Finals. So, for all of you who want to write the Lakers off as of January 31st, 2011 – go right ahead. I’ll be the last 1 laughing once the real games start at the end of April and last until mid-June
LAKERS, BABY!!
As far as KG is concerned… Doesn’t surprise me. Once a b!tch – always a b!tch…
Injurys will tell the tale.GO GREEN!!!!!
The Cavs are gonna win it all.
LOL….. LAKERS 3PEAT!!!
Why anyone is actually talking about which team is better and which isn’t is beyond me. If that really was going to be the deciding factor, NEITHER the Lakers or the Celtics would have made the Finals last year. Stern will decide the teams AND the winner as per usual…it’s not the Kobe Factor, it’s the STERN FACTOR aka the White Mamba lol
And if you don’t believe me, think about the trades that made BOTH the Lakers and the Celtics the teams they are now – in the SAME SEASON. Hell, before you had The Decision, you had The Steals (Garnett/Allen to Boston AND Pau to L.A.)back in ’08. Add to that the new “technical foul” rules they added this year, when it comes to criticizing the refs and you have a nearly guaranteed outcome…’cmon people open your eyes already
Hahahahahaha touche anonymous. However, if Stern had all the control in the league, the Knicks would make the finals this year.
The Gasol trade was a steal. If I ever come face-to-face with Chris Wallace, he better hope I'm not armed.
The Allen trade was not a steal in my opinion. An aging Ray and a 2nd round pick (Big Baby) for Wally Szczerbiak and D-West. The fact that Davis turned into such an asset makes the deal look so one sided. At the time he was just a late 2nd round pick with weight problems.
The KG deal…well thank you Kevin McHale.
Mr. Bailey: Why would you like to be armed if you come across Chris Wallace…?! Please, do tell. I would like to hear your theory on that.
Championships aren't won in January in the NBA people!
I just threw my kg shoes away…I'm never buying a damn think he endorses. He's a ball boy, and to compare him to Osama is a remark all Americans should not take lightly. 9-11…
Hahahahahaha@The Knicks making the Finals
He's not THAT stupid…if the Knicks made it with the players they had (or even have now) EVERYONE would know the fix was on – even Stevie Wonder! However, if they get Carmelo w/o loosing too much of the core team they have now…you might get ur wish. Even I could make that seem feasible, even if I had a written statement of proof in my own handwriting saying that I cheated for them
I can agree w/ ya about Chris Wallace. lol
We can agree to disagree about Ray – in my mind Ray is what makes the Celtics so deadly. Granted a few years younger and it's not even a contest, but with his deadshot (when he's not in a slump)from outside, even at his age he represents a defensive nightmare for any team. Take him off the team and Rajon becomes an ordinary point guard in a hurry, Garnett and/or Pierce get doubled at least twice as much than they do now…
Mr.Anonymous
Does this surprise anyone? This guy is simply classless and needs to be schooled on how to conduct oneself as many are looking up to him. His stardom will not last forever and he will regret it. Does Charlie Villanueva ring a bell? Another example of KG's classless persona. Funny how he is this way in LA when the a-hole lives there in the off season. Pack your bags and get out of town you degenerate!
Anonymous, Chris Wallace packaged Gasol up in a llama pen and shipped him to LA for a nickel and some extra straw. That is why I hate him.
I respect your opinion on the Ray trade. I just think at the time, it wasn't a lopsided deal. The fact that it helped lure KG to Boston was it's most important factor.
You LA losers are all crazy. Wake up and smell the coffee boys. Your Lakers are old, tired, and over with. You can't beat a good team, and lately you've been losing to bad teams. Boston dominated yesterday the entire game. Your bigs were playing soft and scared. Now I hear Bynum is having pain in his knee again….what a shock. As a life time Celtic fan who's had season tix for a long time I just pray we get you in the Finals. The same incentive you had last year we now have. Boston takes it in 6 games assuming we both get there. GO CELTICS !!!
Now that's what I like to hear! The C's are rolling and if they stay healthy, I think they can take LA (or SAS) in the Finals. No injuries, no problems.
awww…i'm hoping to see Lakers and Celtics in the finals. But looks like we're not gonna see them. Booohooo!!! Too bad Fakers!!!!!!
Go Celtics!!!!
Yes!, the Celts in 6 sounds right to me also!
As far as KG's stunt…who gives a rat's %$#! You want an autograph fom a Celtic in LA?!? come on!, quit yer' bellyaching! Should've racked the kid in the nuts just for asking! LOL
It goes to show how much this rivalry means to the players. The NBA gets a bad rap for dragging through the middle of the season, but something tells me this game could be huge for the Celtics as they take off down the stretch in the 2nd half.
I don't think anyone's writing the Lakers off, you'd be foolish to do so. But you have to look at the body of work so far this season, and it isn't as convincing as years past. Kobe's supporting cast is struggling to get it done around them, and for long stretches they look lackadaisical and uninspired. Could it be a hangover from last years championship? Doubtful. Hopefully no one sleeps on the Lakers come playoff time, they know how to get it done when it matters.
HA HA HA LAKERS FANS:CAN'T HANDDLE 0NE LOST
Well said Mark. I agree that LA's chances rest on the shoulders of Kobe's supporting cast rather than his own. If they can't clear the glass and move the basketball, they won't win again.
I heard their 10 assists last night was their lowest total since the 60's. That stat speaks volumes. They're also something like 1-5 when Kobe chucks up 25 or more shots.
Great points guys, this debate is so interesting
Arguing with a boston fan is like gay sex, theirs no point their stuck in their ways.
FUCK YOU MICAHEL
A lot of hate going on here. Why does everybody hate Boston so much? Is it because we won 6 major titles in one decade? Or is it the fact that regardless of how old the Celtics get they don't go away? Or maybe it's because the Red Sox juat had far and away the best off-season in the Majors? Or is it because the Patriots have dominated their division for the least 10 years? Please, somebody let me know.
Thank you for the fantastic contributions Aaron and Joey. Ken, you let me know when you figure that one out.
LA will choke peat thats it for them with their ball hog Kobe who makes believe he is the only player on the team…can't even pass the ball for any assists what the hell kind of players does that
What a class guy. Won't sign a ball boys ball. Still bitter from that Game 7 loss? 6 titles in a decade is impressive. Helps make up for decades of losing.
I do not like the lakers at all. I will take that one to the grave. Kobe is a whiny bitch (albeit an extremely gifted one), Fisher shoots the ball like shaq shoots free throws, Gasol is playing soft right now compared to the begining of the season, Bynum's ass should be on the bench and Odom should be starting, and Artest…..is just Artest; plus Phil Jackson sits there looking like he is waiting for a kidney stone to pass. All that being said; if Kobe would get out of the mentality that he HAS to do everything by himself, and quit being so egotistical in thinking that his team can't help him in the game. If they get down to real TEAM basketball; than they are one of the scariest teams in the league. Sacramento beat them with TEAM basketball, so did the clippers. The SAS and C's are the only two teams who consistently play team basketball and they are the most successful. The lakers look much more lethargic than they did this time last year. Kobe is no doubt one of the most dangerous players to ever play, and he does have talented role players around him. He is playing hurt though, and so are some other players. The top teams all have injuries, but the lakers are the only ones that are actually showing. All this together, if they don't pull their heads out of their asses and get their game together they will be out semi-finals at the worst; or if they meet OKC first round them. I'm not writing them off, but even for them doing their usual lagging in the regular season, they usually wait until after the all-star week. THey don't look like the dominant team they were last year.
Thanks for the quality input guys. Kobe can carry them as far as the conference finals, but he'll need some help against SAS and the C's if they make it that far.
look i respect the lakers the heat and even the celtics but i really hate anything that has to do with new york the knicks need more then a couple names to actually go any where. with that being said lets turn it around to the spurs vs the lakers in case no one knows this the spurs have 4 rings under tim duncan manu and parker then u got the lakers with their countless rings under kobe and shaq and now kobe has shown he can do it with out shaq but to be all honest if u look back the spurs have always been a team to shock and awe we all know wats gonna happen if the lakers make it to the finals but i dnt see them getting that extra shove they need till its too late the spurs r playing smart they are rotating parker manu and duncan in and out of the game which will keep them healthy and we saw wat they can all do when they come off the bench my prediction truthfully and honestly is the spurs vs the heat the series will go at least 5 games at the most 6 i say that cus if u take finals experince just one man and one man alone owns more rings then the so called south beach trio oh and btw the lakers will give a good run and will knock out the mavs but they will fall to spurs in 7!!! thanks for listening and give me a hell yeah if u think duncan deserves a 5th nba championship evolving him into possibly the greatest pf ever (anyone who doesnt watch much basketball pf is power forward)
All you screwed up, sore-losers Fakers fans need to get a grip. You got your asses toasted yesterday…so let's just save all the sh!t talking about KG.
Take your damn whuppin like men…and don't be little anonymous mice.
Everyone knows that "the originator" of this cooked up story (which isn't even truthfully news worthy)of this so-called "alleged" incident is J.A.Adande,a little west coast punk, who is an avowed Laker sycophant with Kobe's d!ck continually in his mouth.
Nobody's interested in his diversionary account about total BS. We're just interested in that terrible asswhuppin that the C's just doled out to the LA Fakers.
So all of you haters using this cheap-trick as an opportunity to merely hate on KG…we here in Boston fiercely have his back: good, bad or indifferent. He's our guy, so keep your cowardice anonymous comments to your ignorant selves.
This goes out to all such punks as J.A. Adande.
C's 109 Fakers 96
Fuck That! We want LA! While ya'll were sleepin,Durant bout to win another scoring title, and the last time I checked Durant/Westbrook is the top scoring duo in the league. So if anybody knokin the lakeshow out it US…sincerely yours The Thunderdome! That ass is OURS!
This anonymous guy is about as crazy as garnett is for not signing that ballboy's ball!!! Do you not remember all the free throws the lakers shot in that series against boston last year? it had to be the worst officiating in the history of the finals! i remember 1 game boston had like zero free throws and LA having almost 40! game 7 was just as bad in the 4th quarter as i have EVER seen!! it looks like the Cs were playing 5 on 8!! i will never forget that 4 point loss in my life!! i will also never forget game 6 in boston's championship run, where the fakers were by far the most embarrassing team in a close out game in finals history!!! that one will never be forgotten!! llakers can do it this year, but with only the help from the zebras that have been helping them so much lately!!! banner 18 this year baby!!!
No, its because you guys cheat in football, are the snottiest basketball fans and are wannabe Yankees when it comes to baseball. Boston fans think their city is the best when they win but are few and far when they lose
Snottiest…seriously? Look at some of your fellow LA fans buddy. Talk about no class. And why the hell would we want to be Yankees fans? That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Literally. Think about what you just said. How does it make any sense?
And as for the wins few and far between, we can't control the results. However, we stick with our teams through thick and thin. Unlike NY fans.
Draft and develope.. the blueprint behind the 2007 world series title. Yeah, you're right, I see the Yankees doing a whole lot of that. And when it comes to snotty basketball fans why don't you read some of the tasteless garbage these L.A. fans are posting on here? And cheat in football? Really? Get over it. We got caught. Other teams do the same thing. The Broncos did the same thing and they won 3 games this year. That's not what made us good. So when you collect some factual evidence to present to me about why Boston sucks so much, you can let me know and maybe my opinion will change a tiny little bit.
CELTICS SUCK BIG BALLS, ITS JUST THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON……LAKERS ALL DAY BABY……HAVE U DUMB GREEN GARBAGE FORGOT WHO'S GOING FOR A 3-PEAT?…WE'LL SEE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!LAKERS WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE, WE DONT EVEN SWEAT IT, NOONE IS PRESSING NO PANIC BUTTON,
"LOS ANGELES LAKERS RULE THE HOUSE"
"BOSTON AINT GONNA DO S***"
COME TO OUR HOUSE (STAPLES) WEARING A BS GREEN JERSEY GET KNOCKED OUT LIKE LAST YEARS FANS
for those slamming Kevin Garnett' – you know for a fact he definitely did not sign the ball. Or maybe he said it and still signed the ball…or maybe none of it happened, the guy just wanted to tweet something negative about a Celtics player.
All tweet's are absolutely true
Honestly, I really don't care if it's true or not. It really isn't that big a deal. Even if he did say that to the kid, you don't ask KG to sign something on the court in LA. That's just not very smart on his part. Also, the Bin Laden reference itself was harmless. It was an innocent joke, not an offensive reference to 9/11 or anything like that.
All you Kobe haters just jealous. No matter what you all have to say about him he is still successful. Jealousy would put you no place in life. Do you remember what they did to Christ? Kobe is always being criticize for not passing the ball which he does many times. You have to make shots to win games. Not only assists fool. Thank God he made decisions at times to take the shots because I saw he passed the ball only to have it thrown away by others. His decision won many games for the Lakers. Don't be a Kobe hater. It is just a game.
YAA
LA is 1-5 when Kobe takes 25+ shots. I don't hate him, he's an amazing player–one of the best of all-time. Saying that, a unit of five cohesive players will always beat one superstar. Kobe needs to trust his teammates to win, like he did last year. Remember Artest's game winning three? Point and case.
Saw Perkins at a casino in LA the night of the game and he was signing lots of autographs…
By the way, the Celtics haven't beaten the Lakers starting 4 yet in the finals… If Bynum and Ariza were healthy in '08, it woulda have been Lakers in 5… oh well….
In terms of the Lakers, they jsut aren't motivated anymore in January. I think they should trade for some big names and prepare for the future.
As far as Kevin Garnett goes… he's the reason Boston is the most hated team in the country (even if they don't win anything)… ere's KG's resume of klass:
- calling another player a cancer patient
- lying about calling another player a cancer patient
- making a shoe that is about the Lakers (LOL thank you btw KG)
- giving other players nut shots while they shoot
- turning down an autograph to a kid
and the list goes on… keep it klassy Boston!
@ Michael
I never said anything bad about the Spurs. Why are you coming at me like that? I was comparing the Lakers and the C's. And I, for one, am a Celtic fan that does think that the Spurs will make it to the Finals (barring any injuries). They have been great this season. Far better than i though they would be.
Interesting note on Perk, thanks for that. I don't always agree with KG's decisions, but I fully believe he is a much better person than Artest. At least KG has never climbed into the crowd before. He can control his emotions.
I'm also not sold on the fact that any of those statements are true/intentional.
Celtics are still bitter from last year.
like the ovwerrated pats, the celts will fizzle out in the playoffs
It’s a game. enjoy the game and get a life.
Some quality input guys. Anonymous 1: Bitter? How about motivated? Wouldn’t you be if you lost Game 7? Six minutes and a torn ACL away from a title?TTT: Fizzle out? In each of the last three seasons the C’s have played their best ball in the postseason. If they lose, it won’t be because they “fizzle out.”Anonymous 2: KG has dedicated his life to the game of basketball. I would suffice to say he has more of a life than you and I combined.
The boston Belt-licks are making a good show of the regular season because they blame last year’s loss on the fact that the Lakers had home-court advantage for games 6 and 7. This assumption is true, but just watch as garnett breaks down later in the season and the Belt-licks fade into history not as the big three, but as the one-ring wonder.
