The Boston Bruins have already won one trophy this year, but at Wednesday’s 2011 NHL Awards ceremony defenseman Zdeno Chara and goalie Tim Thomas took home some extra hardware. The captain Chara earned the Mark Messier Leadership Award and Thomas beat Vancouver’s Roberto Luongo again, snagging the Vezina Trophy, awarded to the NHL’s best goalie.
