Bruins, Sabres Head to Boston for Game 3

Posted by Stephen Bailey on April 19, 2010

After an exciting comeback victory in game 2, the Boston Bruins return to the friendly confines of the TD Banknorth Garden to take on the Buffalo Sabres. Although the B’s were only a .500 team at home in the regular season, I fully expect the house to be rocking, especially since it is Patriots Day.If Boston wants to pull ahead in the series, Zdeno Chara will need to come up huge again. Already leading the team with 3 playoff points, I expect that his play, along with that of goaltender Tuukka Rask will decide the Bruin’s fate. Racking up 5 goals against Olympian Ryan Miller in game 2 was quite a feat. If the Bruins can keep the pressure on him get 30+ shots in the game, and execute on power plays they’ll have a good shot at taking a 2-1 lead in the series.
